About This Publication
Conceptualising and Exploring User Activities in Social Media was co-authored with Tobias Lehmkuhl and Reinhard Jung. It was presented at the 14th IFIP WG 6.11 Conference on e-Business, e-Services, and e-Society (I3E 2015) in Delft, The Netherlands, and published by Springer (ISBN 978-3-319-25013-7).
Companies increasingly recognise the strategic value of social media within their CRM processes. This paper introduces a structured conceptualisation of 40 distinct user activity types identified across ten major social media platforms, and explores the technical integration patterns available via platform APIs.
